20th Century Fox has released the first look trailer at The Post. Directed by Steven Spielberg. Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep Star as Ben Bradlee (editor of The New York Times) and Kay Graham (publisher for the Washington Post) publish the Pentagon Papers. The film centers on the decision and fight to publish the documents. The case would go all to the highest court in the land in a fight between journalism, the freedom of the press and the government.
The Supreme Court ruled against the U.S. Government, 6-3.
The Post film will be released in select theaters on December 22, 2017 and in theaters everywhere on January 12, 2018.
