Believe it or not, the Golden Globes ceremony is a week from this Sunday. The winners will either start a frontrunner’s trajectory towards an Oscar win, or derail it. It’s always hard to say at this stage of the game. The Globes are comprised of roughly 100 foreign press members, as opposed to the thousands that vote in the big guild awards. They will either agree or they won’t. There is no telling until the PGA announces their winner, and sometimes not even then. But you readers are always so smart.
