Water Cooler Podcast: Episode 57 – A Globes and 2016 TV Blowout

2016 is upon us and so are the Golden Globes. In the 57th episode of the Water Cooler Podcast, Megan, Joey, and Clarence boldly predict several upsets in the Golden Globes television races. Spoiler alert: it could be a very good night for Outlander. Or not. It could be a banner year for newbies. Or not. With the Globes, you never know. Next up, they take a look at the 2016 Winter/Spring television season and find it to be a bountiful crop. The Three M’s list their most anticipated shows of the upcoming television season.

  1. I know this is odd, but don’t you think Viola has a shot here. I see it as something like Sela Ward Kyra Sedrick Mariska Hargitay, Katey Segal and Julianna Marguleis thing. Where there show wasn’t nominated but they still one. I mean why wouldn’t they want Viola her show is miles better than Empire and Outlander she’s well overdue they might want to play catch up with Emmy and Sag to be on the right side of history and as of lately she’s everywhere.

  2. No, it’s totally possible that she wins. One of the reasons I think no one predicted her is that she’s a little less of a sexy choice where the Globes prefer such choices. Her performance is the best in the category, but are they really about recognizing the best?
