Dear ADTV: OT – you know, there are some of us who can’t afford or don’t have cable. Can you give network TV shows a little love? How about the great dramas on Fox, like Shots Fired & Empire?
Hi Li. We definitely try to include all shows both cable and network programming. We’re actually talking about Shots Fired and American Crime on tomorrow’s podcast, so watch out for that. As we are an awards-based site, we do tend to cover the shows most in contention. We’ll likely increase coverage for Shots Fired as the season goes forward. Empire, though, is probably out of contention starting this year.
Thanks much. I saw Shots fired and was intrigued, and I’m an Empire junky, also shades of Blue.
NOT a lot of good TV on network (I don’t have cable) so those shows that hook me hook me.
