Netflix’s own golden girls are back this summer in Grace and Frankie
A full trailer has dropped for the second season of Grace and Frankie. It looks as if the sophomore outing is playing it very light. Or maybe that’s how the trailer has been cut? It’s suggested that Frankie (Emmy nominee Lily Tomlin) and her former husband, Sol (Sam Waterston) deal with their recent indiscretion (much to the dismay of their children), but Martin Sheen’s Robert doesn’t comment on it in this sneak peek. What we do get is a lot of Jane Fonda reaching for a vodka bottle, and Tomlin’s willingness to talk about anything. Even recommending vibrators.
While the first season depended a lot on Grace’s prickliness and Frankie’s airy attitude, the season season feels lighter and more like a buddy comedy. Are they going for more belly laughs in this season. Is this The Odd Couple reformed? Take a look at how different the posters are for the first and second season:
Every episode of the second season of Grace and Frankie will be available on Netflix on May 6th.
