Repeat After Me. ABC has announced a February 17 start date for the Ellen DeGeneres-produced hidden camera reality series Repeat After Me. The show, based on a segment airing on DeGeneres’ daytime talk show, will be hosted by The Goldbergs’ Wendi McLendon-Covey. (Variety)

Departures

The View. Actress Rosie Perez (Fearless, White Men Can’t Jump) is leaving the ABC morning talk show The View, according to a Variety exclusive. Perez was selected to replace the retiring Barbara Walters late last summer. ABC has yet to make an official announcement. (Variety)

Returning Shows

The Walking Dead. Newcomer Ross Marquand has been cast in the back-half of The Walking Dead season five. He is reported to play a member of the Alexandria Safe-Zone, ushering in the largest section of Robert Kirkman’s comics that has yet to appear in the AMC series. (THR)

Parks and Recreation. Comic actress Kathryn Hahn will reprise her Parks and Recreation role as hard-hitting political consultant Jennifer Barkley on multiple episodes of NBC’s departing Parks and Recreation. This appearance is but one of many series featuring Hahn, including Showtime’s upcoming Happyish and Amazon Prime’s Transparent. (EW)

Salem. Xena: Warrior Princess Lucy Lawless, Stuart Townsend, Joe Doyle and Oliver Bell are all joining the cast of WGN America’s supernatural drama Salem. The actors will first appear as the series returns with a 13-episode season in April. (EW)

In Development

Mike Myers. SNL and Austin Powers star Mike Myers has signed a 2-year production deal with HBO. The deal reportedly makes Myers exclusive to television. No word yet on any content Myers may develop for HBO or if Myers will star in any productions. (Variety)
