Saturday Night Live. The Voice judge Blake Shelton will host the January 24th episode of NBC’s long-running sketch comedy show and he’ll also be the episode’s musical guest. I wonder if he gets paid double or if it’s the same since he’s only half talented. Host Kevin Hart and musical guest Sia will bring the show back from hiatus on January 17. (TVLine)

ABC Family Sitcoms. The ABC “family-friendly” offshoot is hoping to mature its brand a bit with a foray into single-camera sitcoms. To that end, they’ve greenlit pilots Tough Cookie from Lauren Iungerich (Awkward) and Kevin From Work from Barbie Adler (Arrested Development). Cookie is about a single mom and her bratty kid while Kevin is about a young man who professes is love to a co-worker on the eve of his overseas transfer… only to have the transfer fall through and now they have to work together.
