Untitled Woody Allen Project. No details yet, but Woody Allen will write and direct his first TV series for Amazon Studios which just won Golden Globes Sunday night for Transparent. According to a statement from Allen which sounds like a line from a Woody Allen movie, “I don’t know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I’m not sure where to begin. My guess is that Roy Price will regret this.” The show will be available in the US, UK and Germany. (Press Release)

Star Wars Rebels. Billy Dee Williams will be reprising his role has Lando Calrissian – at least his voice at any rate – on an upcoming episode of the animated Lucasfilm spinoff set fifteen years after the last Star Wars prequel, before the events of the original film. The episode called “Idiots Array” plays Disney XD on January 19.  (Wrap)

The Mysteries of Laura. A Will & Grace reunion is only a motion away. Eric McCormack will guest star on Debra Messing‘s NBC comedy-drama-crime show. Instead of her gay ex-roommate, however, he’ll be playing her ex fiance, a “roguish, arrogant-as-can-be heart surgeon” who is a prime suspect in the murder of his ex wife. (EW)
