Detroiters. Comedy Central has ordered a pilot of this sitcom created by, written by and starring Tim Robinson (featured SNL player turned writer) and Sam Richardson (Veep). They play a pair of Motor City ad men who dream of a better life. Jason Sudeikis and his former SNL boss Lorne Michaels executive produce. (Deadline)
The Curse of the Fuentes Women. NBC has ordered a pilot for this drama from Silvio Horta (Ugly Betty). This one sounds like it has a magical/mystical element as a young man walks out of the ocean to reinvigorate the lives of the women in the title. (Deadline)
Love is a Four Letter Word. In another pilot order, NBC has greenlit this pilot from Diana Son (Blue Bloods). It’s a “collision of race, sexuality and gender roles when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test.” (Deadline)

Spin. Jim Uhls (Fight Club) will adapt the Hugo Award-winning novel from Robert Charles Wilson into a 6-part miniseries. A young scientist tries to solve the mystery of an impenetrable cloud encircling the earth. (TVByTheNumbers)
Donny! The life of adman and former host of CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutch is being turned into a Curb Your Enthusiasm-like comedy for USA Network. He’ll play a fictionalized version of himself as he juggles his TV image and personal life. (THR)
Roadies. Luis Guzman (Boogie Nights, The Limey) and Finesse Mitchell (SNL) have been added to Cameron Crowe’s hour-long comedy pilot about a rock tour as seen by the crew who make it happen. They join previously announced Christina Hendricks, Luke Wilson, Rafe Spall, Imogen Poots and Keisha Castle-Hughes and rapper Machine Gun Kelly. (TVByTheNumbers)
