Adam West, “not excited”

Former TV Batbuddy Adam West has “only seen bits and pieces” of Chris Nolan’s Batman movies, but he’s unimpressed because, “they’re dark, gothic, sinister, full of explosions.”

“Back in my day, we didn’t know what visionary was, and we didn’t care! Back in my day, we tucked our dicks between our legs and minced around in homoeroticklish tights, and that’s the way we liked it!” he forgot to add.

But believe it or not, West really did say this: “With the villains, especially, it was almost Shakespearean because of the bizarre costuming and makeup. In those days we didn’t rely on special effects as much so everyone was challenged to use their imaginations.”

Shakespearean? I think he means Shape•scary•an.
