500 Greatest of All Time?

Empire Magazine, via SlashFilm, has released a voted on list of the five hundred best. These were voted on by readers and Hollywood insiders like Sam Mendes, Guillermo Del Toro, Pedro Almodovar, Quentin Tarantino, Mike Leigh, Cameron Crowe, etc. What immediately strikes me is how high The Dark Knight is on the list. Is that because it is truly a top 30 or because it is the film of the moment? Here are the first 30:

Um, Die Hard? Yeah, not feeling it. And not to bitch and moan but Terminator better than Psycho? They did not just put Citizen Kane below Back to the Future. They did not. Yes, they did! Fight Club number 10 better than Godfather II? Okay, the rest of the top fifty after the jump. I think I may jump after reading it, though.
