Cold Souls clip

A day after the very cool poster for Cold Souls arrives, we get a taste of the movie’s Clockwork Big Orange attitude in this clip on Yahoo trailers. Sure, it’s hard to avoid the obvious comparisons with Charlie Kaufman, but gotta give Sophie Barthes credit for daring to take on Kaufman’s themes and come up with concept that appears to be a solid riff on the genre’s repertoire.

Stranger Than Fiction stood up to the same sort of scrutiny and succeeded on its own terms. Nobody can claim exclusive rights to Sociophilosophical Psychosurrealism (copyright ‚ìí Ryan Adams, 2009).
