World’s Greatest Dad has the Year’s Cheesiest Log Line:
A comedy about a man who learns that the things you want most may not be the things that make you happy, and that being lonely is not necessarily the same as being alone.
Working title: “Duh” aka, “Real Life for Dummies.” Directed by Bob Goldthwait, so World’s Greatest Dad should have a sharp edge wicked enough to cut through all the misleading marketing bulllshit.
(Note this is a red band trailer, so it’s peppered with a few f-bombs.)
Probably foolish to hope for anything sharper than a throbbing headache from Robin Williams’ other Who’s Your Daddy movie this year — Old Dogs, directed by Walt (Wild Hogs) Becker.
Two friends and business partners find their lives turned upside down when strange circumstances lead to them being placed in the care of 7-year-old twins.
Poster and possibly the worst trailer of the year, after the cut.
