Flame & Citron

Heard about this yesterday from Frank J Avella at New York Cool, and today another trusted advocate, Alex Billington at First Showing, has the trailer. Variety’s Todd McCarthy, as quoted in the trailer:

Absorbing… Accomplished. More than enough dark turns and unsettling moods to justify the comparison to Melville’s Army of Shadows.

Since the 1969 Army of Shadows is ranked the #1 movie of 2006 on metacritic (with a score of 99), I’d say Flame & Citron is a film to watch for with great anticipation.
