“Camera Dudes Cry”

This is a great bit with the star of Precious, Gabby Sadibe — it is also a good time to stop and think about how surreal all of this must be. I see pictures of a terrified Carey Mulligan walking the red carpet — a lovely girl and who gave a great performance and suddenly it’s like someone just dropped a hunk of bread in the middle of a seagull swarm. Talk about “an education.” I’m sure this is a year neither Carey Mulligan nor Gabby Sadibe will forget. However, I will say this about them – though they’re not seasoned vets walking the runway, their interviews on camera have been so articulate and genuine they come off as actual human beings instead of Hollywood automatons.
