Top Ten Reviews’ 10 best reviewed movies

Claiming to collect, parse, and mathematically evaluate up to 190 critics per film, Top Ten Reviews puts forth the following list as the ten best reviewed movies of 2009 (so far).

Little in common with similar rankings at the more frequently cited RT or metacritic, but the curious phenomenon of seeing some titles bubble up and others sink out of sight is solid evidence of one thing: The folly of attempts to quantify critical opinion by reducing complex opinions to numerical values. Not that we plan to stop trying.
