Jeff Wells at Hollywood-Elsewhere attended the event and has posted decent-enough quality videos of the event. First up, Meryl Streep (you gotta love the suck-ups laughing at every line, clapping at every observation – not so snooty now are you! Throw a celebrity at them at they fall apart. Just kidding. That really isn’t fair, I know, but I can’t help myself):

And the beyond gorgeous 60-ish Kathryn Bigelow accepting her award, and then of course, Mr. Popular himself, George Clooney cutting up at the mic – everybody used to love Jack. Now everybody loves George – especially formerly snooty, suck-up New York Film Critics. Just kidding! Please note how people start eating when Wes Anderson gets to the mic. Not a big enough celebrity I guess!
