In 1988, Jim Cameron was still dating Kathryn Bigelow and he directed this video of Bill Paxton’s band Martini Ranch. Back in the ’80s, I know because I lived and loved them, music videos took on literal meaning. So if you were singing about brushing your teeth, you would be seen brushing your teeth with a back beat.
