Although last year, the winner of the Sound Effects and Foley in a Feature Film went to the Dark Knight, which then went on to win the Oscar. The year before The Bourne Ultimatum won two MPSE awards and then went on to win the Oscar for Sound Editing. Year before it was Letters from Iwo Jima, it also won the Oscar. But in 2005, War of the Worlds won the MPSE and King Kong won the Oscar.
