Animal Kingdom is a psychological crime drama set in the Melbourne underworld and tells the story of seventeen-yea-old “J” (Josh) as he navigates his survival amongst an explosive criminal family and the detective who thinks he can save him. Gripping, mesmerizing and intriguing, Animal Kingdom is the debut feature of writer/director David Michod.
