DHD has just announced that (something tells me someone very close to this project has a mainline to Nikki Finke) three more players for Tilda. Patrick Goldstein’s doppleganger has been cast. And there are two others. Heck, you gotta have sex in the thing, right? It salts the meal, as it were:
[Wes] Bentley will play Tilda’s often called upon cute young IT guy whose relationship with her bleeds beyond just fixing her computer (they sleep together). [David] Harbour will play an old school entertainment columnist working for a major publication (in the version of the script circulated around town, it’s The Los Angeles Times) who harbors bitterness towards Tilda’s means of going about her job. In a guest starring/potential recurring role, [Leland] Orser will play a movie studio head who is being exposed by Tilda. The three join Keaton as well as Ellen Page also was recently cast in the project. Condon and Tell Me You Love Me creator Cynthia Mort wrote the script and are executive producing the pilot, which Condon is attached to direct. Filming is slated for June in Los Angeles.
Harbour is most memorable for lusting after, and then banging a pregnant, suicidal Kate Winslet in the front seat of a Chevy in Sam Mendes’ Revolutionary Road. I’m sure Goldstein is pleased that his hairline has been given a second chance at life. ¬†Bentley is also a Mendes alum from American Beauty.
At least I think it was a Chevy.
