BFCA Favorites: Winter’s Bone, Toy Story 3, Kids Are All Right

With nearly half the year flown by, Broadcast Film Critics’ rankings have produced¬†three early favorites for the upcoming awards season. The only features to score in 4-star territory¬†at BFCA are two recent releases, Winter’s Bone and Toy Story 3, along with Lisa Cholodenko’s¬†festival hit The Kids Are All Right.

Hovering in high 3-star territory are Shutter Island, The Ghost Writer, and How to Train Your Dragon. The Joan Rivers doc pops up here, too. But lush Tilda Swinton drama I Am Love unfortunately feels no love from BFCA.
