The Green Hornet action figures

No, that’s not Flasher Ken and Bellhop Barbie. It’s Seth Rogen and Jay Chou as The Green Hornet and Kato. These action figures are actually unironically earnest enough to be sort of deadpan hilarious, and that feels like a pretty good fit for Michel Gondry and the “action comedy” slant on the material. Cameron Diaz will co-star as Rogen’s love interest and Christoph Waltz as his nemesis, Chudnofsky. The Green Hornet is scheduled to open January 14, 2011 — two weeks too late for Oscar consideration.
