Robin Wright joins cast of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

In talks to join the cast of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Robin Wright would star as Erika Berger, pairing up with Daniel Craig in the role of Mikael Blomkvist as his former romantic partner and current publisher. No word yet on the casting of Lisbeth Salander, but Deadline reports Wright’s deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment would include options for all three films in Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy

[UPDATE: Stellan Skarsg√•rd tells Variety that he will play Martin Vanger in David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

“I have met Fincher, I want to work with him, he wants to work me. I have had a concrete offer and now we are in negotiations,” Skarsg√•rd said. (comingsoon)
