Would you like some trumped-up controversy with your sex and gore? Last week Philadelphia Eagles guard Todd Herreman tweet-and-deleted this: “So.. caught up on Trueblood las nite.. Not a fan of how they get u hooked with the 1st 2 seasons then bring on a barrage of homesexuality.”

(I know how u feel, homey. I see how the NFL will try to get u hooked with 2 seasons and then bring on the barrage of homeysexuality.)

Herreman was quick to apologize: “After speaking with Eagles management, I realize that my tweet earlier was insensitive and tasteless, and for this, I deeply apologize. It was not my intention to offend or hurt anyone.”

Poor guy. His tweet wasn’t so bad, but I wonder what’s gonna happen when he finds out Twitter is gay.

Is cut ‘n’ bloody the new wet ‘n’ steamy? Not sure I’m really feelin’ it.
