Deadline reports that The Conspirator is likely out of Oscars 2010. They say they are working from The Hurt Locker model. Hm. Not sure that is the right way to go on this, but who am I to say.

The Weinstein Co. has purchased one of the surprise hits of the fest. Submarine was a film many a blogger begged a distributor to take. The Weinsteins listened and now they have this baby for this next’s Oscar race. Looks like the film is slated for 2011.
