Vanity Fair’s John Lopez has revived their Little Gold Men column — MUGGLE ALERT — it has many “likes” and “retweets” so it’s a good thing Lopez knows what he’s talking about. VF

Scott Feinberg presents a really and truly valuable interview with 127 Hours’ Danny Boyle (which I am finally seeing today). He has them in YouTube form. They aren’t much to look at but the sound is really great.¬† SF

Over at the Film Experience, Nathaniel figures out that If Jesse Eisenberg is Oscar nominated for The Social Network, he’ll knock Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting) out of the “Youngest” Top Ten Best Actor Nominees. TFE

Yes, we know about the Deadline print Oscar editions that are set to come out and cash in big on Oscar ads and provide interesting insight into the race. All’s fair in love and Oscar — we welcome them into the fray. Just remember, when it’s printed it’s “in ink, Mark.” The internet IS written in ink, but really, it’s not. One can always futz with it and it doesn’t hang around very long. Deadline.

Over at InContention, Kris Tapley says he’ll finally get around to writing about I Love You, Phillip Morris – and had the poster yesterday – they just sent it to me today, which is why I didn’t credit him or EW. And you know, if it doesn’t happen on Awards Daily it doesn’t happen. Just kidding. IC

I really like that Vulture actually attempted to predict the documentary race. Remember, there are documentaries the public and critics like. And then there are the Oscar documentaries. They very rarely cross over. We shall see if that rule is broken this year — but hey, would it be great if they did just nominate the popular ones? Speaking of Barney’s Version, Coming Soon’s Ed Douglas wrote to tell me he thinks it will be a player in this year’s Oscar. Took some time to get going, he said, but once it did it featured some great performances, especially from Paul Giamatti.¬† CS

And Yours Truly finally got around to watching Get Low Рand what a wonderful film that is. Robert Duvall, better than he has ever been Рand with a career like his, that is saying a lot. Also putting out fabulous work are Sissy Spacek and Bill Murray.  Talk about hitting the sweet spot of Oscar voters.
