R.I.P. Harris Savides, 1957 – 2012

He gave us the gliding and often dreamlike images of Zodiac, The Game, Milk, Elephant, Somewhere, Birth. The great Harris Savides has left us way too soon at the age of 55. A favorite collaborator of David Fincher, Noah Baumbach, Woody Allen and Sofia Coppola, Savides shot his last scenes for Coppola’s The Bling Ring, now in post-production.
