Cannes 2013 – Directors Fortnight Gets a Poster

The lovely Poster for Directors Fortnight was revealed a few days ago.

The French Directors Guild, which organizes the event, chose a photograph by Cécile Burban. On her official website she mentions that the graphic design was undertaken by Michel Welfringer.

Along with International Critics’ Week, the Directors’ Fortnight is a major parallel section of the Cannes festival.

The event highlights daring and uncompromising directors. Last year, Noémie Lvosky and Pablo Larrain were recognized for “Camille redouble” and “No.”
