Birdman was a wishful thinking… it is actually my favourite film this year, son I’m glad it’s winning some recognition. Only seven of us thought this might happen. Wow.

I know i never comment in this, but i come here almost every day and your articles are allways very interesting, Sasha. And (im not saying you are) don’t have afraid to sometimes sound repetitive when you want to defend things you believe. Is important to share opinions and convictions on all this awards process, or else its all about facts,
Cinema is an important art form, maybe there’s people who see it more as an entertaining thing (which is great), but for some is a great oppurtunity to really talk about important stuff – and when is well made has a chance to reflect who we are.

Even whit this surprising winning from Birdman, i still think Boyhood is the frontrunner, And i came from American Sniper
and… gowd! Just to think they prefered this “hero” movie over Luther King’s one… i haven’t seen Selma (only 5 Feb here in Portugal), so i “guess” it may be a hell of an awfull movie… and David Oyelowo must be only in the trailer and not really performing in it LOL (only reason bradley cooper gets in)

Wow, I predicted 7 out of 8! I didn’t even realize that when I read the winners.
