We are a bit late in posting this trailer. I did not see anything about it anywhere but here it is. The costumes are to die for and who would not want to spend time with Kate Winslet wearing these clothes? I could take a bath in this movie, even if it’s terrible.

Mara and Blanchett had better get used to gazing upward into the direct, blinding STARlight that is Kate Winslet for all of awards season. I’m not psychic but it’s not hard to be a (Weinstein Co.’s The) Reader of these (Hollywood) stars! Also Hugo Weaving (Babe. The Matrix) looks like he’ll be ok.

ofc this trailer is misleading. They’re trying to sell it as a frothy rom-com. I see Kate Winslet looking fierce in the best movie costumes of the year, I see Judy Davis acting the shit out of everything (as per), I see Sarah Snook making good on the incredible promise she showed in Predestination (lest we forget, she was the runner-up to Rooney Mara in the Lisbeth Salander casting) and I see Liam Hemsworth with his little boy titties out. Bitch plz, I’m already sold.
Watermelons is dripping with excitement out of every orifice atm.

P.S. Yes, Winslet looks great and will no doubt carry this movie like nobody’s business.

The Dressmaker is a black comedy with a dramatic ending. The trailer is misleading.
