Paul Dano joins Brian Wilson on Stage

I was unable to attend last night’s gathering of journalists and Academy members to listen to Brian Wilson perform Beach Boys songs but Jeff Wells went and captured some of it on video. Here is the Dano part. The Love & Mercy team are pulling out the stops and giving it everything they’ve got, with hopes for a Best Picture nomination and to be sure voters pay attention to three key potential nominees – Paul Dano for supporting, Elizabeth Banks in supporting and Brian Wilson for Best Song. Screenplay, sound mixing and Atticus Ross’ brilliant score round out the collaborators. They are more than deserving of these honors.
