Spotlight was honored by the Detroit Film Critics winning four out of the five categories it was nominated in. The film took Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Screenplay and Best Ensemble.
Alicia Vikander had a double win with Best Breakthrough Actress in Ex-Machina, and Best Supporting Actress in The Danish Girl.
