Birth of A Nation Gets A Release Date

Fox Searchlight Pictures won the bidding war at Sundance earlier this year for Nate Parker’s Birth of A Nation. Earlier today, the company announced the film will be released on October 7.

Fox Searchlight paid $17.5 million for the film which Parker wrote and direct. Birth Of A Nation won Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award at Sundance and stars Parker, Armie Hammer, Aja Naomi King and Penelope Ann Miller.
