Kong Skull Island gets a Trailer

The WB Comic-Con just did a big splashy thing for Kong: Skull Island and have released a first look trailer. As with all films of this nature, we’re generally looking at crafts nominations, like visual effects, sound, sound effects editing, etc. Very few of them ever cross over into the “major” categories, although you never know. I’ve always thought it would be a good idea to name five effects-driven films for best of the year to help evolve into the new era of cinema but I don’t know if that will ever be Oscar’s thing. To be released in 2017.
