Best Animated Feature Watch: Disney Unveils First Trailer for Moana

The full trailer for Disney’s Moana is here. Moana is set in the Ancient South Pacific and tells the tale of Moana (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho), a teenager tasked with saving her people. She tracks down the demigod Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) to help her along the way. Together they battle monsters of all sizes and Maui is quite the perfect companion as he helps Moana discover that she is just as tough, talented and gifted.

Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda and South Pacific musician Opetaia Foa’i and film composer Mark Mancina have all collaborated on the music.
