Last year on November 29th, Sasha posted her preview of the NBR Awards. The group announced 2 days later, on December 1st. Fastest out of the gate, as they’ve been for decades.
You’ll recall three weeks ago the BFCA declared that the Critics Choice nominees would be announced on Nov 30th this year. We then waited for the other inevitable shoe to drop. Sure enough, this morning the National Board of Review cut to the front of the line and revealed that their choices for best of the year will be named on November 29th. Raise your leftover drumsticks in celebration — that’s five days after Thanksgiving.
