Moonlight Wins Scripter!

Moonlight took the prize for Adapted Screenplay, all but solidifying its Oscar win.

We still don’t know officially what script is winning adapted. Tonight’s Scripter is the only other awards show besides the Oscars that has Moonlight up against Arrival, Hidden Figures, Lion and Fences. The WGA and BAFTA both have Moonlight separated so it would seem likely that whatever wins the Scripter tonight goes on to win the Oscar for adapted.

I’m going to predict Moonlight takes it but it might be Lion, maybe Hidden Figures. Who knows.
