Ryan, Marshall, and I spent way too much time talking on yesterday’s podcast. We talk about War for the Planet of the Apes and offer our reflections of the entire Apes reboot trilogy, while speculating on Andy Serkis’ Oscar possibilities (which I’ll be writing more about in the coming days). I also give them my (mostly spoiler free) thoughts on Christopher Nolan’s sublime Dunkirk and we do a bit on potential cinematography frontrunners – namely, Dunkirk, Blade Runner 2049, Call Me By Your Name, Mother, Detroit, The Papers, etc. Finally, we close by offering our brief respects to the late George A. Romero.
Have a listen!
