HBO confirmed the release date for Vice Principals Season 2 and revealed a sneak peek into the back half of the 18-episode series.
HBO’s Vice Principals Season 2 returns to the cable programmer on Sunday, September 17. The Danny McBride and Walton Goggins-starring series filmed 18 episodes and split them evenly between Seasons 1 and 2. Critics received the first season with a lukewarm response, averaging 64 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. I always thought that a very low response to the series, but it all depends on expectations, I suppose. To me, Walton Goggins delivered an amazing comic performance that deserves serious Emmy® consideration. Alas, that feels near-impossible.
Here are a synopsis and teaser trailer from HBO. Vice Principals Season 2 returns Sunday, September 17, at 10:30pm ET/PT.
