Ahead of its September 28 premiere, NBC’s highly anticipated Will & Grace reboot extends its first season again and orders a second season.
Hard to believe, but NBC’s Will & Grace revival just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
Announced today at their Television Critics Association (TCA) presentation, the upcoming revival scheduled to premiere on September 28 will add four episodes to its 12 original order. NBC also ordered a second season of 13 episodes. Although, honestly, who believes it will stick to 13?
All four original cast members return for the revival, famously spawned by a Hillary Clinton campaign ad from the 2016 election cycle.
Debra Messing commented at the TCA presentation on the initial table read: “We all came together and read and it felt like coming home,” Messing said. “We laughed so hard. For the last year, it’s been a confusing time and I haven’t laughed very much, and to come back together and to laugh out loud and to be surprised by one another and to have new stories to tell and to have another opportunity to do it, it’s a no-brainer.”
Here is a behind the scenes sneak peek of the upcoming series.
