Angelina Jolie’s First They Killed My Father Cambodia’s Foreign Language Submission

Variety reports that, indeed, First They Killed My Father will be submitted by Cambodia as their official entry for Foreign Language film. In Telluride, Jolie told a packed audience that she made the movie for the country as a way to help bring back some of their light after a devastating past. The film will be distributed by Netflix.  The pic will qualify for the awards race, which puts Jolie is a great position to be nominated for adapted screenplay, maybe director and Foreign Language – you know, cinematography is not out of the question…
