Can Jessica Chastain Win the Oscar for Molly’s Game? The Race without a Frontrunner Might Have Just Gotten One

The reviews are starting to trickle in and by the reactions so far it looks like Molly’s Game was very well received, and most especially Jessica Chastain. Mike Ryan writes:

Here we get Chastain in all her glory and she is a force, spitting out finely tuned Sorkin dialogue, sometimes at light speed. Even when Molly Bloom isn’t in control, Chastain always is. Chastain owns this movie.

MOLLY'S GAME is *phenomenal,* an Erin Brockovich-level crowd destroyer. Also it's the first good poker movie ever. Wasn't sure we'd get one.
