Glenn Close Does Finest Work of Her Career, Says Bradshaw

The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw gives four stars for Glenn Close in The Wife – Close, who has never won an Oscar appears to have turned in a performance on the level of Fatal Attraction and Dangerous Liaisons. That is impressive beyond belief.

Glenn Close has been nominated six times – yet has never won. That puts her way out front any other overdue actress and indeed, in an incredibly crowded field of Best Actress contenders, she just might pull it out.
