The New York Film Critics has announced that they’ve invited 8 new members to their roster. For a total count of 42.
The new members are The Ringer’s Kameron Austin Collins, IndieWire’s David Ehrlich, The National Catholic Register’s Steven Greydanus, BBC’s Caryn James, Film Comment’s Violet Lucca, RogerEbert.com’s Sheila O’Malley, The Atlantic’s David Sims and Vox’s Alissa Wilkinson. That makes it 32 men to 10 women.
They’ve set their awards date for November 30, 2017 – which is not too far off, just about a month away, if you can believe it.
