Yours Sincerely, Lois Weber is a Doc Short Highlighting the Early Days of Women Behind the Camera

Brilliant cinematographer and photographer Svetlana Cvetko has made her directorial debut with Yours Sincerely, Lois Weber. Produced by Elizabeth Banks, Lois Weber is a sweet, nostalgic look back at a trouble maker whose film “Hypocrites” caused quite a stir when a woman playing “truth” appeared fully naked in it. Her story is interesting and Cvetko captures it beautifully. What a joyful thing to see, way back when women had a fighting chance to compete as directors in Hollywood. Hope sprang eternal there for a while. Check it out if you get a chance.
