Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) is a group of around 50 film critics from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia who have recently been among the first regional critics organizations to announce their year-end awards. WAFCA will reveal their winners this Friday, December 8th.
Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk and Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water lead this year’s WAFCA recipients with seven nominations each.
