The first few images have dropped for the sophomore season of the heavily awarded drama, The Handmaid’s Tale.
You’ve heard of The Handmaid’s Tale, right? A little show that could about a super scary future where women are held against their will and forced to carry children that don’t belong to them? You may have seen it steal, you know, every single top drama award this television award season. The second season will drop in April, and Entertainment Weekly has the first few disturbing images.
The stills were released, and they all have their own haunting qualities to them. We see Elisabeth Moss covered in blood and the Handmaids being led through a snowy graveyard. Speaking of wastelands, the third image is a stark and dusty western-inspired shot.
What do you think of these shots? Are you already hard at work at a black and red Handmaid outfit for Halloween?
The second season of The Handmaid’s Tale will debut sometime in April.
