YouTube Originals Throws Emmys Mixer Party In Hollywood

YouTube Originals hosted an Emmys mixer at The London Hotel last night. They invited TV Academy members, press and stars from its popular shows to celebrate YouTube Originals shows, Cobra Kai, Ryan Hansen Solves Crime and Impulse.

Attendees included YouTube executives Susanne Daniels, Global Head of Original Content and Robert Kyncl, Chief Business Officer. Karate Kid and Cobra Kai stars Ralph Macchio and Billy Zabka were also in attendance. The creators of Cobra Kai, Impulse and Ryan Hansen shared words about finding a home for their content at YouTube Originals, noting the support of YouTube Global Head of Original Content Susanne Daniels.

Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg, Impulse’s Maddie Hasson and Missi Pyle, executive producers Doug Liman, Dave Bartis and Gene Klein, executive producer Beau Bauman and creator/writer/EP Rawson Marshall Thurber were also at the mixer.

Formerly YouTube Red, the service recently rebranded to YouTube Originals, a monthly subscription service with original television series and movies. The service is now available internationally.
