Chris Santana has done a great job putting it all together, I think, emphasizing which films and performances are front and center right now. It is not a comprehensive look at the entire year of film, of course, and leaves out movies like Eighth Grade, First Reformed, Boy Erased, Ben is Back, etc. But nonetheless, it’s kind of fun to watch.
